PHOTOGRAPHY / COSTUME DIRECTION
The cover shoot for University of Toronto Medicine Magazine was a collaboration with creative director where I had the opportunity to assist with helping create the costume for the shoot. After the creative concept was explained, we began with research, followed by a costume sketch. The costume designer used the sketch to create the costume. He crafted custom elements including a cape. Curated accessories, including shoes and a belt, which I helped source, completed the look. This collaborative effort resulted in a striking magazine cover, which was brought to life through photography and specific lighting style to match the vision.
Another spread from the issue is included showcasing a range of objects shot separately and composited together.
